Welcome!

Boston Atheists is the largest atheist membership organization in New England, and one of the most active secular organizations in the Boston area. We provide opportunities for friendship, education, and community for hundreds of local atheists. As a local affiliate of American Atheists, we advocate at every opportunity for the advancement of a reality-based worldview.

Whether you’re looking for intellectual conversation, social opportunities, comrades in activism, or just to go to a place where everybody knows your name, you’re very welcome to join us at any of our public events.

Programs for members and the public

We meet several times monthly for social and educational events. Check our calendar for information about the next lecture, dinner party, discussion group, community service event, or pub night; or sign up for our monthly email bulletin. Paid membership with the Boston Atheists is not required to attend public events; we welcome anyone who wants to participate constructively. In order to RSVP, just create a free account at Meetup.com.
